Coaching with Ethan Beardsworth
Capability without clarity. Momentum without a compass.
You already know something needs to shift. Let's figure out how.
Where This Comes From
A few years ago I was carrying too much — professionally and physically. Twenty years in investment management and global strategy across five continents. The career looked accomplished from the outside. The body told a different story. I was running on fumes and had been for a while, in the quiet way that capable people often do.
What changed things wasn't dramatic. I lost significant weight — and kept it off — not by burning everything down, but by learning to think in checkpoints. Small, honest, sustainable moves stacked over time. That process rewired how I understand change: it's directional, not dramatic. You need the next honest step and someone in your corner who won't let you bullshit yourself.
That same process eventually led me out of a career that no longer fit. The health transformation and the professional reinvention weren't separate events — they came from the same shift in how I thought about moving forward.
That's the philosophy behind everything I've built since — Chase Your Sky, SOAR Supplements, Skyburst, Sky Engine, and now coaching. I'm an ICF Member graduating from the ICA in July — because this work deserves rigor, not just enthusiasm.
What I actually do in sessions is act as a thinking partner — with a founder's bias toward action, a background in navigating real-world complexity, and a genuine belief that most people are one good question away from their next move.
How I Work
No Fluff
We skip the filler. Every session is focused on what's real, what's stuck, and what's next. You won't leave with homework you'll ignore — you'll leave with clarity you can actually use.
Checkpoint Thinking
Big goals are overwhelming. We break them into honest, achievable moves and build from there. Progress compounds — the same method behind my own transformation and everything I've built since.
Client-Led
You set the agenda. I ask the questions that help you think more clearly about it. This isn't advice-giving — it's a structured space to work through what you already know but haven't yet acted on.
What We Work On
People come to coaching at inflection points — when the gap between where they are and where they want to be becomes too clear to ignore. Some common threads:
If you're not sure whether coaching is the right fit for what you're dealing with, the complimentary 15-minute call is the place to find out — no commitment, no pitch.
What to Expect
- 1Start with a complimentary 15-minute call. We'll talk briefly about what's on your mind, how coaching works, and whether it's a fit. No pressure — if it's not right, I'll tell you.
- 2Sessions are typically 50–60 minutes, held over video or phone. You bring the topic. I bring the questions. We figure out what's actually going on and what honest next steps look like.
- 3The work happens between sessions. Coaching isn't something you come to for answers — it's a structure that helps you generate your own. Most clients find that clarity builds quickly once they start showing up consistently.
- 4We move at your pace. Some people come in with a specific goal and a clear timeline. Others are working through something broader. Either way, the process adapts to what you actually need.
