Practical work for people building things. AI integration, business strategy, brand, and personal coaching — grounded in 20+ years of real experience, not a brochure.
Personal Coaching
1:1 Coaching with Ethan Beardsworth
CoachingMost people don't need more information. They need clarity — on what they actually want, what's been getting in the way, and what the next honest move looks like. That's the work.
This isn't motivational coaching and it isn't therapy. It's structured, client-led, and built around real momentum. Sessions are focused on what's true right now and what's actually next — no filler, no frameworks for their own sake.
The toolkit includes Checkpoint Thinking (breaking big goals into honest, achievable moves), Appreciative Inquiry (building forward from what's already working), and a range of other evidence-based approaches. No single method fits every person or every situation — and that's the point. What you bring to the conversation shapes how we work, not the other way around.
Everyone comes in different. Different goals, different sticking points, different ways of thinking through problems. The approach adapts to you — because a framework that doesn't fit isn't a framework, it's just friction.
ICA/ICF certified (graduating July 2026). Built for anyone who recognizes there's a gap between where they are and where they want to be — and is ready to close it.
AI & Agentic Systems
AI Integration & Agentic Workflow Design
AIAI is everywhere right now, and most of the noise around it is exactly that — noise. Vendors selling platforms, consultants selling transformation frameworks, everyone waving the same shiny object.
My approach is different. It starts with understanding what you're actually trying to accomplish — your workflows, your constraints, your people — before any tool gets introduced. AI is only as useful as the clarity behind it, and the wrong implementation creates more friction than it removes.
What I bring is high-agency execution: I don't hand off a slide deck with recommendations. I work directly in the tools — building agentic systems, designing prompts, wiring automations — and I stay with it through the full cycle. That means iterating, testing, and fine-tuning until the system actually performs the way it needs to in your specific environment. The goal is always systems that compound: less babysitting over time, not more.
- Needs assessment before any tool recommendation
- Hands-on agentic workflow design and implementation
- AI tool evaluation and stack selection
- Prompt engineering and LLM system design
- Automation that reduces friction, not adds it
- AI readiness assessment for teams and operations
Strategy & Operations
Business Strategy & Process Improvement
StrategyMost strategy consulting starts with a problem list. What's broken, what's inefficient, what needs to go. It's a useful lens — but it's incomplete, and it often misses the things that are actually driving performance.
My approach is grounded in Appreciative Inquiry — a method that begins by mapping what's genuinely working before deciding what to change. That means looking beyond the documented processes to the full picture: the institutional knowledge, the informal communication patterns, the cultural dynamics, the relationships and trust that don't show up in any org chart. The intangible stuff is often where the real leverage is.
From there, the work is building forward — designing systems and decisions that amplify existing strengths rather than just patching weaknesses. It produces changes that are better calibrated to reality and far more likely to stick.
20+ years in investment management and corporate operations. I bring a founder's bias toward action and a genuine appreciation for the complexity that most consultants flatten out.
- Appreciative Inquiry-based assessment and strategy
- Mapping both tangible processes and intangible organizational dynamics
- Operational clarity and process design
- Decision-making frameworks under uncertainty
- Founder and leadership advisory
- Investment management background applied to business structure
Brand & Voice
Brand & Content Strategy
BrandHelping businesses and individuals find a clearer voice. Less polished corporate speak, more authentic communication that connects with the people you're actually trying to reach.
Whether you're launching something new or trying to articulate what you already do well — the work is the same: get to the real thing and say it plainly.
- Positioning and messaging clarity
- Content strategy for founders and builders
- Tone and voice development
- AI-assisted content workflows (without losing the human part)
